Oilskin Canvas: The traditions of Kakadu's Oilskin canvas are traced back three generations where ancestors manned a lighthouse serving the remote Southern Ocean of Australia's South. Here Oilskin canvas was constructed using a wringler mangler & was used to protect wharf equipment & themselves from the unrelenting harsh elements. 'Microwax' was developed & is used exclusively by Kakadu for our Oilskin & Scrubbed product range.
Using a unique blend of Australian waxes and oils, our oilskin canvas is not only completely water and windproof, it is also fully breathable, allowing sweat to permeate through the fabric. Unlike most Oilskin fabrics you may find on the market, Kakadu's oilskin canvas is pleasantly odourless with a drier handle & also remains suple in the colder climates.
Delivery within the UK is free. Delivery to Europe will be calculated by weight and will be added at the checkout.
If an item is in stock then UK delivery is usually within 5 working days. Most items will be sent via Royal Mail Recorded delivery. Heavier items are sent via a next day courier service.
If an item is not in stock estimated delivery times will be shown when you pick your colour/size.
Any items that are not suitable can be retunred within 14 days for an exchange or refund.
Any faulty items can be returned for an exchange or a refund. Return postage will be refiunded for faulty items only.
